OZart

It would make me very happy if you'd comment on the pieces you like. Also, I'd love to see photos of them in their new homes.

#18 - Ademas' coffee

Coffee and a USB cable, notebook & some programming books. Watercolour on paper.

#17 - Flowers for Clady

Not perfect, on purpose.
Frangipanis, watercolour on paper.
These flowers resided outside the house of an accountant who was a pain in the arse. I actually had to contact the licensing board, because he was avoiding all our phone calls, emails etc. This resulted in him doing our tax returns for free, but still not talking to us. So, I "stole" the picture when walking past one day. Take that, Mr Evil Accountant ha HAH!

#16 - Cruela

After I did this, I cast around for some meaning, because what I actually did was put a stapler and box on my desk, and paint them. watercolour on paper.

#15 - Time for DL - she keeps on ticking

Watercolour on paper

#14 - Lighting up the Weasels

My lamp and keyboard - watercolour on paper.

#12 - Finally Onion relaxes

I can't remember, did I say in the note? I think by the looks of it, watercolour pencil on watercolour paper. Oh and I think the white lace was acrylic. So let us call it mixed media.

#11 - Samara's kitty

This is acrylic on pastel paper. Which means the paper is really bumpy and the paint dries awful fast. The kitty has an antfarm. That was KT's idea. This is one of those ones where the end result isn't the same as the draft. I don't know how it happens.

#10 - Cadreemen's other side of the Pacific

And here's where it was taken from: Macleay Island

Coloured Pencil and Ink on paper.

Here it is in its new home. That matt is exactly the right shade of blue and I love how there's blue in the vases, the wall and the photos above.

#9 - StillClock and the slightly less than still clock

So, points to note: That's a Rowan tree. check out the shadows and negative space from the sundial and the alarm clock (very deliberate because that's what shows up in the photos most of all). In case you can't tell (Mort couldn't), that's verdigris, which is not symbolic at all but looks pretty. I'll leave the latin as an exercise for the scholar. Oh, and the time on the little bitty alarm clock is deliberate because that gorgeous bebe almost always looks incredibly happy. Oh and for those who haven't had their coffee, a sundial was the stillest clock I could think of.
Watercolour paints, ink and gold pen on paper.
